Scotstoun February Holiday 2012

Please note that there will not be a Holiday Club running from Scotstoun Primary during the February School break. This is due to low numbers booking care on these days.

Festive Holiday Activity Planner 2011

To see what fun activities we have on offer over the Festive Holidays for children attending MACS, please click on this link. Please note the venue for all December dates will be St Cadocs Primary. Both St Cadocs Primary and St Joseph's Primary will be open for all January Holiday dates.

KIRKHILL PRIMARY SCHOOL - 29th November 2011

Kirkhill Primary School has no power this afternoon. If your child attends this school please collect them by 3 o'clock, MACS cannot operate today.

 

30th November Strike

Please note that if you have not received an email or letter confirming your place at Mearns Parish Church for the strike day on Wednesday 30th November 2011, you have not been allocated a place. We are now full on this date and cannot offer any further care.

Mailing List

As you may know we have been trialling a new method of booking holidays using Survey Monkey. We intend to use email more as a method of communicating with parents and sending information such as holiday booking links and venue changes. If you would like to keep up to date with MACS news please join our mailing list by emailing general@macs.uk.com.

30th November Possible Strike Action

Council workers have announced a proposed strike on Wdnesday 30th November 2011. If you are a current MACS client and you would like to register your interest in using care on this day please follow the link below:

Care will be provided at Mearns Parish Church on this date if the strike goes ahead. If the strike is called off all projects will operate as normal.

 

MACS HOLIDAY CLUB - OCTOBER 2011

Please note MACS St Cadoc's is running from Mearns Parish Church on Friday 14th October only, all other dates are running from St Cadoc's.

 

MACS HOLIDAY CLUB - 23RD SEPTEMBER 2011

Just a reminder to all parents/carers using the MACS Holiday Club on Friday 23rd September 2011, we are running from one venue ONLY- Mearns Parish Church. All children attending can look forward to having a go on the Bouncy Castle!

Swimming Dates

MACS have managed to arrange the following dates in August should any child attending our St Cadoc's Holiday Club wish to go swimming at Eastwood Swimming Pool. These dates are:

Monday 1st August

Thursday 4th August

Tuesday 9th August

Thursday 11th August

If your child is attending the St Cadoc's Holiday Club on these dates and wishes to go swimming please ensure they bring their swimming costume and towel along with £1 coin for a locker.

Summer 2011 Holiday Planners

It's almost the summer holidays again and here at MACS we have been busy planning our Holiday Clubs for 2011! Have a look at all the fun activities planned for children attending MACS Eastwood (this year to be held at St Cadocs Primary School), MACS St Joseph's and MACS Scotstoun Holiday Clubs.

SEASONS FOR GROWTH

MACS Directors Penny and Elaine and MACS Manager Linda are now companions for a programme called Seasons for Growth. This programme works with small groups of children to support them through loss in life including having a serious illness in the family, bereavement or loss through changes to family relationships. Please contact Head Office if you would like further information on this programme. The children must want to volunteer for any groups with parental permission.
