School Closure Emergency Care

As you have been aware the closure of the schools due to bad weather has occured more frequently in recent years.

If weather does deteriorate we will try to open an emergency care facility from Mearns Parish Church.

If you believe you may require this service during school closures we ask that you register your interest for the days you require care by contacting Head Office on 0141 887 0002 or emailing general@macs.uk.com.

Please state your child/children's name, the MACS project attended and what days you would require care should the school close. Please also include a telephone number to enable us to contact you should the need to run the emergency service arrive.

Please note that the quickest method of contacting our parents with up to date news is via email and Twitter. Please email general@macs.uk.com to join our mailing list or follow @MearnsAfterSchool on Twitter and stay informed of the latest news concerning your child's project.

NOTICE TO ALL PARENTS/CARERS

As indicated in our Terms & Conditions, when projects are closed this decision is not taken lightly. In exceptional circumstances the decision to close is not ours and is due to School Lets being cancelled.

We work proactively for parents to find alternative venues to offer emergency care and we ask for parents support while we put these emergency procedures in place.

To clarify, long term closure means that we will refund for services if we are closed for more than 5 days in any given month. Until this time we will charge parents full amount. If you wish further clarification on our policy please email general@macs.uk.com
