Senior Management Career Opportunities to Extend our Management Team

 

Project Manager: 

​Are you Passionate and Enthusiastic do you want to make a difference?

We are looking for candidates to work as an integral part of the Senior Team, promoting quality in a people centred environment, where playful learning is valued and nurtured. Professional leadership qualities are required to respond to holistic needs of all stakeholders. CPL and reflective practice is an important part of the role, you will be expected to attend and facilitate training, quality improvement and senior meetings as part of this. 

Hours of Work:   *dependent on the Project as 2 Projects are Afternoons only.

Term-time - *Breakfast club 7:45am to 9:00am, After-school 2.45pm to 6pm, with additional weekly office hours. (approx. 29.75 hours p/w)

Holiday club – We are able to offer flexible working pattern during this time to suit both applicant and company needs.

Additional hours - Training sessions and regular meetings, (time back will be given or overtime will be paid at hourly rate).

 

Salary:   *dependent on the Project as 2 Projects are Afternoons only.

Based on an annual salary of up to £19,801.60 

Up to 40 days annual leave (including Public Holidays) Pro-rata for Term-time.

20% subsidy on childcare at MACS subject to availability

Requirements:

Minimum Level 4 Childcare Qualification or Level 4 Management

A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience

You must either hold or be willing to work towards the B.A. Childhood Practice or equivalent

Support Worker Career Opportunities  - Unqualified  and Qualified

Childcare Support Worker (Unqualified) Part Time:

​​East Renfrewshire Area - Term Time only: 7.45 am - 9.00 am then returning again at 2.45pm - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday

Scotstoun Area - Term Time only: 2.45pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday

Benefits of a Childcare Support Worker:

  • In-House Training

  • 22 days holiday (including 9 public holidays)

  • Opportunity for holiday work may be available upon request

  • Competitive rate of pay of £8.72 per hour increasing to £9.00 per hour upon completion of SCQF Level 6 training.

  • Uniform Provided

Requirements of Childcare Support Worker:

  • Childcare experience required, this experience can be gained through Employment, Childminding, Baby Sitting, Volunteering with Children e.g. Scouts, BB, Clubs.

  • Must be willing to undertake certified training.

  • Must undergo Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme checks.

  • Must undergo Reference checks and complete SSSC registration.

  • Must be able to provide at least 1 Childcare Reference.

Responsibilities of Childcare Support Worker:

  • Promote high-quality child led play by promoting children's individual choice and development through imaginative, fun and interesting play.

  • Demonstrate the continuous development of the play setting to meet the needs of each child.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous professional development.

  • Reflect on practice to act on and improve their own practice.

Childcare Support Worker (Qualified) Part Time:

East Renfrewshire Area - Term Time only: 7.45 am - 9.00 am then returning again at 2.45pm - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday

Scotstoun Area - Term Time only: 2.45pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday

Requirements of Childcare Support Worker:

  • Minimum of 1 year childcare experience gained through Employment or Volunteering.

  • Minimum SCQF level 6 in Playwork or equivalent (if you do not have a relevant qualification please apply for our Unqualified Support Worker Post).

  • Childcare experience required

  • Must undergo Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme checks

  • Must undergo Reference checks and complete SSSC registration

Hours of Work:  *dependent on the Project as 2 Projects are Afternoons only.

Term time -Breakfast club 7:45am to 9:00 am After-school 2.45pm to 6pm, with additional weekly office hours. (flexible positions up to 28 hours)

Holiday club – We are able to offer flexible working pattern during this time to suit both applicant and company needs.

Additional hours - Training sessions and regular meetings, (time back will be given or overtime will be paid at hourly rate).

Salary:  *dependent on the Project as 2 Projects are Afternoons only.

Depute Manager: Based on an annual salary of up to £12,694.50 

Up to 35 days annual leave (including Public Holidays) Pro-rata for Term-time.

Additional benefits:

Requirements:

Minimum level 3 childcare qualification

A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience

You must also be willing to work towards further qualifications
